Service scope

Each project starts with a confirmed work list, price, schedule and acceptance criteria. Warehousing, specialist repairs and returns require separate arrangements. Stock availability does not establish eligibility for Vinted Pro; check the target market’s rules before purchase.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY & SUSTAINABLE OPERATIONS

Circular economy for Vinted Pro sellers

Circular economy is the foundation of ColisVinted. We connect China’s surplus stock and refurbished products with responsible resale and European local parcel handover. For Vinted Pro sellers, this means selecting eligible stock, documenting its condition, managing returns and using actual sales to plan replenishment.

OUR BUSINESS FOUNDATION

Circular economy is the basis of ColisVinted

A circular economy keeps products and materials useful through reuse, repair, refurbishment and recycling. Our role focuses on the product stage: helping usable stock reach buyers and returned items re-enter sale.

Put existing stock to use

We source factory surplus, unsold brand inventory and already refurbished electronics in China. Sellers select batches for an identified market, with item condition and sales-channel rules checked before listing.

Repair and prepare for longer use

Sorting, cleaning, functional checks and necessary repairs make item condition clear. A working device or wearable garment can then be offered for continued use, with defects and repairs disclosed.

Return saleable items to circulation

Returned goods are checked against their item records, then restocked, repaired or removed from sale. Items that cannot be reused need an appropriate recovery route; their destination is recorded separately.

This principle shapes the collaboration model below. China supplies stock and preparation capacity; the seller takes responsibility for suitable products, accurate listings and buyer service; our European relais/shop partners support prompt carrier handover. Sales and return data then guide the next purchase, so replenishment follows demand.

01

Vinted: marketplace services

Vinted connects buyers and sellers with transaction, payment, shipping and buyer-protection services. Its charges include buyer protection and optional paid services; product sales are the seller’s revenue. The platform does not purchase the seller’s stock or assume sell-through risk.

02

Seller: commercial responsibility

The seller uses an eligible business and account, selects stock, sets prices and chooses channels. Accurate listings, authenticity, product safety, tax, buyer communication and applicable return obligations remain seller responsibilities. Our records support that work.

03

China: stock and preparation

Manufacturing across clothing, streetwear, electronics, outdoor, sports and collectibles produces surplus and unsold inventory alongside refurbished used devices. Sorting, repair, testing and packing turn scattered stock into purchasable batches; channel eligibility still needs checking.

OPERATING CYCLE

Vinted Pro operations: sourcing, dispatch and replenishment

Check channel eligibility and costs before buying. Link source, listing, order and return with an item ID so batch results can inform the next purchase.

01

Choose channel and budget

Confirm market, account eligibility, category rules and price range. Assess surplus, new stock and refurbished goods separately; purchasable does not automatically mean eligible for Vinted.

02

Buy and inspect

Agree samples and acceptance criteria; check source, condition, functions and defects. Separate rejected items and use actual accepted quantities in the cost calculation.

03

Prepare stock and listings

Confirm available stock, item IDs, photos and descriptions. The seller prices and lists items using acquisition, preparation, transport and expected after-sales costs.

04

Dispatch locally

Match the sold item to the order label. Use the European relais/shop network for the appropriate carrier handover, retain acceptance evidence and follow up exceptions.

05

Resolve returns

The seller handles buyers and refund decisions. Inspect returned items against their original IDs, then relist, repair or remove them from sale and update inventory.

06

Review and replenish

Reconcile proceeds, markdowns, return losses and stock age. Feed selling patterns and return reasons into the next purchase instead of adding more slow-moving stock.

BUSINESS & CIRCULATION RESULTS

Circular-commerce costs, inventory and returns

Batch contribution

Deduct refunds, goods, preparation, transport, fulfilment and other seller-paid costs from sales. Consider taxes, overheads and payout timing when assessing viability.

Replenishment evidence

Track accepted saleable stock, sell-through, returns, inventory age and cash cycle. Define the denominator and observation period for each rate.

Product destinations

Record direct resale, resale after repair, restocked returns and items removed from sale. Assess transport, repair and packaging before making environmental claims.

FAQ

Circular economy and Vinted Pro collaboration: FAQ

Questions about responsibilities, channel fit and repeat purchasing.

01How does resale contribute to a circular economy?

Resale gives an existing product a route to continued use. Inspection, repair and return handling help make that route practical. We track what is resold, repaired, returned to stock or removed from sale; an environmental benefit still needs evidence that considers transport, packaging and repairs.

02Can all China surplus be sold on Vinted?

No. Our sourcing covers several circular-commerce channels. Check local Pro and catalogue rules first; allocate unsuitable batches to a channel that allows those products.

03Do you operate the seller’s account?

This service covers supply-chain and local handover coordination. The seller controls the account, pricing, sales and after-sales decisions. ColisVinted operates independently of Vinted.

04When should a pilot be repeated?

Set a budget, category, review period and acceptance standard first. Review actual saleable quantities, net proceeds, returns and remaining stock before buying again.
